2022 Soldiers’ Land Riesling

The original lease of 171 Jury Road, Berri, South Australia, was has handed to Horace Walpole & Clara Denford Andrews on 10th June 1922. The ownership of the land changed hands many times until Carl Hermann Pech, originally from the Barossa, purchased it on the 30th August 1939. After eighty-two years of Pech ownership, Robert Ashley and Ruth Lynette Pech sold 171 Jury Road to another Barossa family, Ashley and Holly Ratcliff and their children, in January 2021.

The Ricca Terra Soldiers’ Land has the opportunity of Protecting the Future by investing in the Returned & Services League (South Australia), who play an important role preserving the legacy and looking after the men and women, and their families, who make up South Australia’s armed services. Part proceeds from the sale of Soldiers Land will be donated to the Returned & Services League (South Australia).
